We do not always have the necessary time to keep our garden in good condition. If that happens to you, a great option is to resort to artificial or synthetic grass, a.k.a. artificial turf. This is a product that over the years has evolved and improved significantly in quality.
Gone are the years of artificial grass that itched every time we lay on it.
Nowadays, the quality of synthetic turf has increased a lot. It is such an improvement that it has become a challenge to differentiate between natural and artificial turf.
It was designed to mimic the look and feel of natural grass and consists of synthetic polypropylene or polyethylene fibers.
Furthermore, it is composed of several layers including support, cushioning and two or three layers of drainage and infill.
A 168 m2 garden can use an average of 279,143 liters of water per year. Switching to artificial turf allows individuals, businesses or municipalities to save significantly on their water bills, as well as increase water conservation, a precious commodity for many areas.
You can save up to 70 percent on your water bill by choosing artificial turf. With artificial turf, there is no need to drain water resources to keep your landscape looking good.
You can forget about bald patches on your lawn, or areas where it turns brown due to the lack of sun. With artificial grass, you will enjoy a green and beautiful garden at any time and wherever you install it.
In addition, with the new technologies applied to its manufacture, all our lawns look and feel like natural grass.
Once you have your artificial turf installation, all you need to do is remove the leaves and occasionally give it a quick brushing and a quick hose down.
On the other hand, if you use your lawn intensively, we recommend that you have it professionally maintained at least once a year, or every two.
Once you have installed your artificial turf, you can be sure that it will last a minimum of 10 years and will be guaranteed for up to 8 years. Enjoying a high quality artificial turf for a long time is possible now.
Your artificial turf will ensure your safety and that of all those around you. Thanks to its fireproof system, there will be no danger of the grass catching fire, and thanks to its drainage system, rains will not flood it.
You wouldn’t dare to change your natural grass for a synthetic one if you knew that the latter is harmful to the environment, right? Well, you don’t have to worry about it, artificial grass has certain characteristics that make it eco-friendly.
Natural grass requires large amounts of water for proper maintenance. In the case of artificial grass, it will only require water once in a while when you want to clean up any dirt. However, it does not require water to maintain itself.
Artificial turf is also recyclable, and those parts that are not recyclable you can use them to generate other products.
Synthetic grass can last up to 25 years in optimal conditions. During all this time, you won’t have to spend on pesticides, insecticides, water or any other resource necessary for the maintenance of a natural lawn.
The quality of synthetic turf has reached such levels that it is very difficult to differentiate it from natural grass.
You can choose from various colors, styles and heights to match your environment and preferences.
One of the advantages of synthetic grass is that you can select an antibacterial synthetic turf to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
Furthermore, It is clean and tidy, soft and cushioned, making it perfect for playing on, plus it doesn’t need chemicals or pesticides, making it safer.

says April 14, 2022 at 7:24 pmInteresting article. When it comes to making a home visit and giving a free estimate, I believe that my biggest selling point is the lack of maintenance required for artificial turf installation and upkeep. Hire a contractor / specialist & never think about it again. In the coming years I believe more and more homes will switch to astroturf for more than one reason.

says August 22, 2022 at 2:52 pmThank you for pointing out that artificial turf is more environmentally friendly than having a natural grass lawn. I’d like my new home to be as eco-friendly as possible, so I’m contemplating having artificial turf installed in the yard this summer. I’m going to search for a good provider of artificial turf installation services in my area that I can use.
